I met five of my newest--and closest--friends (Beth, Dana, Danielle, Kelley and Susan) because of Ava. She has gone to school with the child of each of these women. We started getting together in September 2008, and have play dates at each other's homes every few weeks. The kids love playing together and us mommies love spending time together, too! We recently had our first Mommy Club Weekend. It was awesome and the kids had a ball! They went "sledding" (the sled was an empty box) , took a 4 wheeler ride, played in a creek, had picnics, etc. We had so much fun!
Looks like y'all have a lot of fun. You and Ava are gorgeous as usual!!! Brooklynn has that same shirt that Ava is wearing. <3
ReplyDeleteThis is good stuff. Ella just joined a playgroup about three weeks ago. She and Judah absolutely love it. Kids have got to be together and mom's (and dad's) need someone who knows what they're going through once in a while.
